Horseback Riding Lessons
Last Chance Ranch strives to utilize natural practices to teach students the fundamentals of riding. Students will not only learn how to ride, but also learn about tack, anatomy, breeds, colors and more.
Rates
-$30.00 for private 1/2 hour lessons (for children 10 and under)
-$35.00 for private 1/2 hour lessons (10 and over)
-$45.00 for semi-private 1 hour lessons (this would be a class of 2-3 people)
-$55.00 for private 1 hour lessons
We offer a package, buy 5 lessons, get one free. This package can be purchased through our office.

Summer Camp

Last Chance Ranch offers Summer Camp for children ages 7 to 14 years.
Summer camp is restricted to 8 campers per week for horse camp, 10 campers per week for all about dogs and 12 campers per week for rescue camp!!!

Dog Training
We offer a variety of dog training at the ranch through our trainer Bob Kasprowicz of Raise Your Right Paw™ Dog Training.
. Bob is a CCDT certified and APDT dog trainer who has been volunteering with Last Chance Ranch for more than three years.
Bob’s Obedience classes will cover the basics of dog obedience; sit, stay, down, loose leash walking, etc. Graduates of the Basic obedience class will have the opportunity to go onto our Advanced Class.
read moreThese Six Week Courses are open to dogs of all ages. Puppies must be at least 4 months old and fully vaccinated. Maximum of six dogs per class. The class is $150 for outside dogs and $140 for dogs adopted from Last Chance Ranch.

read moreBirthday parties are three hours long. The host has the first hour and a half to serve food and games in our indoor party room. The remaining time will be occupied by a tour of LCR, animal interactions, and pony rides. Decorations are included, a horseshoe craft can be added for additional fees. Hosts can enter in to the space up to 1 hour before to set-up. Tables and chairs will be set-up as requested. The tour of the facility learning about the current animals and the history behind Last Chance Ranch. All ages welcome.
Tours - Individual & Group
We have many tour options available at Last Chance Ranch. Although we would like to accommodate all visits, we require private tours to consist of at least five people. If you do not have five people in your party, you are welcome to join one of our free tour and volunteer orientations held the first Saturday of every month at 10 a.m.
Visits include a one hour guided tour of Last Chance Ranch facilities and rescue stories. Private tours can accommodate additional requests. If you would like to arrange for a GROUP VISIT, please fill out a Group Visit Application (PDF) and email or fax it to us well in advance.
Rates:
$5 per person (6 person minimum or pay fee for 6 people)
*Please dress appropriately! Last Chance Ranch is a working farm. Old sneakers or boots are required. Dress according to the weather, the majority of the tour is outside.

Community Service

The Community Center at Last Chance Ranch offers three different rooms that can accommodate events for up to 100 people. Perfect for Business Meetings, Parties, Celebrations, Professional/Clinical Presentations and much more!

The Petco Classroom
This room has a 60-person capacity and can be set up classroom style with rectangular seminar tables and chairs, party style with round tables and chairs, or however you want. Located on the first floor, the room features one wall of windows, a white board for presentations or celebratory messages, and projector for presentations.
It is ideal for educational programs, business gatherings, employee luncheons or sales meetings, community group meetings or small fundraisers, birthday parties, showers, family reunions - whatever your business or personal needs require.

The McCutcheon Room
Planning a bigger event? Our largest room, accommodating up to 100 people, is situated on the second floor with windows overlooking the indoor arena. Adjacent to this room is a food prep area where you or your caterer can set up and serve food.

Deposits are due when the contract is signed. Balance is due on the day of the event. Alcoholic beverages are allowed, but must be provided and served by the renter. LCR is not licensed to sell alcohol. Bathroom facilities are located on first and second floors. The second floor is not handicapped accessible.
