Cinnamon is our newest and first female addition to our lesson program making her debut at the end of 2020. Originally from auction, we do not know much about her background, but she has a great work ethic and enjoys her job! Cinnamon is used for beginner and intermediate lessons.

M2 joined our program in May of 2021. She is an experienced lesson and camp horse and will happily do beginner through advance lessons! She has done a little bit of everything from playing polo to trail riding and enjoys adventures to the horse park!

Connor came from a neglect situation in July 2021. He bounced back quickly, and has proven to be a safe mount for anyone! Connor loves teaching kids and enjoys birthday parties! He is very well trained, has a handy neck rein and is game for any task!

Originally a stray from Philadelphia (believe it or not!) this super cute pony is now teaching all sorts favorite at LCR! He is used for mostly beginner lessons as he has a steady pace and likes to go slow.

Big boy Finnegan joined our lesson program in 2017. Finn is a 16.2 hand Standardbred/Percheron cross that was rescued at auction. He is a perfect gentleman and is used in intermediate to advanced riding lessons. His favorite past time is trail riding!

Felix came from a neglect situation in January of 2021. Once he got up to a healthy weight, it turns out he is very well trained and LOVES working! Felix enjoys teaching students of all ages and never says no to an adventure! He loves schooling the cross country course or hacking around on trails.
Marie went to Delaware Valley University where she was a member of the IHSA team. She has been riding and training horses at Last Chance Ranch since 2013. Marie currently manages our lesson program, riding interns/volunteers and working students. She enjoys helping students create a solid English foundation and become confident in the saddle. Marie adopted an OTTB mare, named Dixie, from LCR in 2017. They enjoy showing dressage together and going for trail rides. Marie’s favorite thing is riding all of our ponies and jumping!
Zane has almost 30 years of horse experience, and 15 years experience working as a riding instructor & horse trainer. Zane teaches a centered, balanced seat, with an emphasis on safety. She takes great pride in helping beginner students create a solid foundation for a lifetime of success. In 2018 Zane began working in tandem with professional counselors and therapists. She exceeds in working with teens who are struggling with a myriad of issues, including anxiety & depression, ADHD, substance abuse, and specializes in teens with Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Zane has experience across multiple disciplines, including Hunter/Jumpers, Eventing, Competitive & Classical Dressage, Western Pleasure, and Natural Horsemanship. When not busy hugging every horse at the ranch, she can usually be found hugging her own pony, Lydia.
