Get involved or just come out for the tour and see what we are all about!
When: We have volunteer opportunities for everyone and invite you to come visit with us on the first Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. for Volunteer Orientation. Orientations take about an hour or so.
Where: Orientation starts in front of indoor riding arena at Last Chance Ranch, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA 18951
What to Expect: Orientation includes a complete tour of our facility and seeing our residents. These are all required prior to starting as a volunteer.
All Are Invited: There is no appointment needed to attend an Orientation/Tour.
What Should You Wear: Orientations are held rain or shine so dress appropriately! You’ll be walking around an active farm, so we recommend wearing shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
If You Can’t Attend: If you are unable to make the first Saturday of any given month, please email [email protected]. You will be given a tour of the facility and ideas of the volunteer opportunities available.
STEPS TO BECOMING A VOLUNTEER

- Read the Rules and Regulations (PDF)
- Read, print, and sign the Acknowledgement of Confidentiality form
- Read, print, and sign the LCR Participant Agreement, Release & Acknowledgement of Risk form
- Submit an Online Volunteer Application
- Attend a Volunteer Orientation
- Bring required signed forms with you.
- Volunteer Orientation is the first Saturday of every month.
- You do not need confirmation from Last Chance Ranch to attend the orientation. Just show up with your paperwork!
