Valley Run has been placed in a home with several other of LCR's resting crew. He is keeping Fatal Instinct "Fate" company.

Valley on July 26th for the Seabiscuit premier. He was extremely well behaved and loved the attention. Valley has been in Natural Horsemanship Training and has made some great progress. He will not be available for a while until we feel he is over some issues, but he is looking for that special person to help and work with him on an individual basis in his quest for better horsemanship practices. Please contact the LCR Natural Horsemanship program if interested.

I have been returned to LCR for some behavior issues. LCR is currently evaluating me to determine if this is physically related or psychological. I was being trained for the English show ring. I was doing very well too. I decided that at certain times I did not want to listen to my rider and I would act out. I reared up and fell over backwards scaring my rider which led to my return. More to follow after evaluation.
Hi, I'm Valley Run...

Valley is a retired Thoroughbred racehorse.Valley has recently (Summer 2001) been adopted by Kelly Plante, one of out LCR volunteers. Kelly is an experienced English rider who has been working wonders with Valley who previously only knew "racetrack" cues. Valley will be staying at LCR until the fall of 2001, when his new home will be ready. Valley has bonded with Darby, a 2 yr. old warmblood gelding owned by Kelly's sister, Heather. Valley and Darby are inseparable and will continue to live together after they leave LCR. We could not have asked for two better volunteers or horse owners! Please click on Valley's picture for more details.

I'm a 4 year old Bay TB gelding. I recently came off the race track and I am sound and completely healthy. I have impeccable ground manners.
My adoption fee is $1500.
Note: More information will be coming soon, after we have had a chance to evaluate Valley's riding abilities.
