Hi, I'm Trooper!

I am a sound Quarterhorse cross gelding, 17 years old and stand about 16 hh. I have great training in Western Pleasure. I do very well on the trails and in the ring. I do not need shoes, I have been barefooted now for over a year and doing fine. I have been trail riding and having some fun here at LCR. I would need someone with a little knowledge because I am very sensitive to commands, otherwise I am quiet and safe. I love people and will lick you like a dog. I am traffic safe and not easily spooked.

I make friends easily. I am a push over in the field, and can be out with mares or geldings. I am really a very easy horse to get along with.

I had found a home over the summer, but it turned out my home wasn't the most appropriate. I became ill in October 2003 and wasn't properly cared for. LCR brought me home and treated me for ulcers. I am fine now and waiting for someone to love me. I am very personable and really have no problems. I am sound and, although a little out of shape right now, I'm ready for some fun in any discipline.
