Hi, I'm Sunshine...UPDATE 11/16/02 Sunshine sadly had to be given up from her adopted family due to unfortunate circumstances. She has been doing well trail riding and is happy and healthy. She will need some more mileage to overcome her immature inexperience. She can continue her education in any direction or discipline.

Sunshine is a Chestnut, 15.2hh, Quarter horse x Thoroughbred mare 5 year old. Sunshine came to us through an auction aprox 200 pounds underweight with a beta strep uterine infection, rain rot, and just poorly cared for. We were told she had just had a foal and the foal had died due to an accident. Now Sunshine is healthy, fat, and working well under saddle. She is very quiet with no bad habits. We have been training her with the natural horsemanship and she is responding very well. At this point she needs more mileage and experience to see more things in this world. She is not spooking, but still young. She is 100% sound and a pretty mover. With the proper education she will be able to continue in any discipline for shows, eventing, trails, western pleasure, etc. She is quiet enough for a beginner with an experienced trainer to help further her education. She would make an excellent 4-H project.
Adoption Fee: $1500.00
