MY GABBY is still missing. Please, someone out there has to know where she is. She was taken by the Pet sitter on Nov 20, 2002. When last seen she was wearing a purple collar with her name and phone number embroidered in it. She is microchipped. Please... if anyone has bought any Komondor (or Komondor like) puppies in 2003, contact me. I am searching in Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and West Virigina, and of course Pennsylvania. If you think youve seen her, know where I can look or need a picture of her, please email me. She is 29" tall at the shoulders... all white... with her cords forming, but she still had some baby fur. But that was a year ago. Who knows what she looks like now. If a groomer clipped her etc. When she disappeared she weighed 77 pounds. Thank you for your help!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLACE "GABBY" IN YOUR SUBJECT LINE!!!!!!THANK YOU SO SO VERY MUCH!!!

I am still searching for my Gabby.   IF there is anything you can do to help me I would be forever grateful.  Attached is her missing flyer.

Thank you very much,
Marsha Bradley

Here is a letter written to LCR by someone who would like to find a horse she had to give up a few years ago.

Hello, My name is Sharon. I live in Benton, Pa. About 2 1/2 years ago I purchased a horse from my now father-in-law. His name is Dancer. He is a light brown with a blonde mane and tail. He always loved apples. Dancer was a wonderful horse when I bought him. He was very high spirited and very friendly especially to roosters. He allowed them to sit on his back in the early morning and crow from there. I had Dancer for about 8 months. I fell in love with this horse and my now husband started teaching me how to ride Dancer with a tie-down and special bit. Dancer was a little wild. But that is why I loved (love) him so much.

At the time that I purchased Dancer I lived with my mother. I took as good care of him as I knew how. I was up at 5 am every morning to feed him and then again at 5pm. When my father-in-law owned him he kept him on a very strict schedule. If I was not there on time each day he would run circles in the pasture and make noises until I got there. He became a second son to me. We would spend hours in the pasture together. He would lay on the ground by my side and I would tell him all my worries and problems and he always seemed to comfort me. Even though Dancer was so high-spirited he allowed my (now) 4 year old son to sit on his back and would walk him around the pasture.

Then came the dreaded day when my mother told me she no longer wanted him there. I had to get him off her property immediately. At that time my husband and I did not have a place of our own nor did we have the money to buy a place of our own. My father-in-law did not have the room to let Dancer live there. That is why he sold him in the first place. I could not find anyone to buy Dancer. No one saw his beauty. They only ever saw a horse that was to hyper and would be hard to train. I accepted Dancer for who he was. I trained my self to conform to his spirit not the other way around.

Now almost 3 years have passed since I have seen Dancer. I wonder about him often. He has no special features other than his love to run. I ended up donating him to the SPCA in Danville Pa. I am now wondering if there is any way you may be able to help me find Dancer. I never took any pictures of Dancer because I thought he would always be mine. I am not looking to find Dancer to hurt anyone. I would just like to know who has him and if he is doing okay. And, maybe visit him on occasion. He was 12 years old when I gave him away. If there is anyway you can help me I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Sharon
