Promonade

UPDATE 10/29/02
I found a home. I am going to live with my friend Secret as a companion to her and the occasional trail ride. I never knew the life of leisure could be so good. Thanks to all who cared fro me over this past summer. I hope I was able to teach you all something.

Promonade has been helping LCR with the Natural Horsemanship Program
and has proved to be a wonderful mare for anyone to enjoy. 
She is sound, safe, bomb proof in the ring or on trails. You would Be
 able to do just about anything with her for that first time horse
 owner. Nothing seems to phase her. She is an easy keeper 
and has put on a little too much weight over the summer.
So far Promonade has been able to comfortably function well without
 shoes; now that we are learning the benefits of barefoot trimming from 
Paul Chapman. (Look for his seminar in our Upcoming Events). 
Promonade is ready for a new family.

Placement Fee: $750

I am a dark bay Thoroughbred mare.  I am 24 years old and still acting like a teenager.  I was used as a lesson horse for 5 years teaching disciplines of English and Western.  I have done Hunter paces and Trails.  I have good ground manners, Child safe and I love people. I am very reliable and get along with everyone and everything.

I have finally arrive to LCR.  Though everyone here is still evaluating me, I am not up for placement at the moment, I think they have other plans for me in the future.  Stay tuned as everyone finds out my future :)

I love my LCR life. I have been helping some of the youngsters learn how to groom, saddle, and lead. As for right now I enjoy the attention and my new friends and will be staying at LCR for the summer.
