Prince Charming

Hi my name is Prince!  I'm a 16 year old Welsh x gelding.  I stand a whopping 11 hands. I am 16 years young, dark bay with flashy chrome (white blaze, 3 white socks).

I am quiet and easy going and have shown leadline and off leadline. I know my leads, have done pony rides and lessons. I love to stand to be brushed and fussed over. I pick up my feet and trailer well. I am a little spoiled. 

Prince foundered last year and needs corrective barefoot triming due to slight rotation of the coffin bone to help in his rehabilitation to become sound. He may not have grass and needs to be kept on Thyrol-L for low thyroid level and diet restrictions.

I'm here! The vet has seen me and took blood for further Thyroid testing. (Results are not in yet) I am really a character and know it. So far LCR has not done a lot with me except evaluate my soundness and personality.  I really love the attention. I seem to be staying sound and have not had any problems with living on just hay. I will not be allowed on pasture ever, due to my foundering potential, but will make a great kids pony for a child who has some experience.

UPDATE: I went to the movies and gave pony rides. That was fun! My blood test results are in...everything is normal. I have been taken off all medication and have had no problems. Blood will be drawn again in another month to make sure all is well. I have nibbled a little grass (sneaking my head trough the fence) but they won't put me on  pasture. I found a new friend, Ollie. He's just my size and he likes to play, but he's not too rough with me. We get along great. I have stayed sound and have been very well behaved for anyone to be around...very child safe.
