Peter Fuller, Natural Horsemanship Trainer

Peter Fuller is a Natural Horseman whose interest is in promoting a better understanding of the horse. He shows how people can approach horses in a way that will promote trust and respect. This is done in order to develop a partnership instead of what is typically an adversarial role, because the human does not understand the horse.

Peter, as a mentor, has taught us how to uncover the horse's natural fears and insecurities and to be won over to leadership and mutual respect. During demonstrations he will show the natural flight response converted into a desire for the horse to trust and be with him to accomplish the goals he may have for the horse.

Peter's mentors and teachers, such as Ray Hunt, Pat Parelli, Buck Brannaman, Joe Wolter, Greg Eliel and others, have shown him a better way to get a horse to respond without force, but through making "the right thing easy and the wrong thing hard". Whatever discipline one is involved in, whether it be English or Western, Team Roping (which Peter does), Cutting, Dressage or Hunter/Jumper, a person can apply these helpful ways that Peter will demonstrate to help people and horses develop a more wholesome relationship in which a lot can be accomplished by both human and animal.
