I am a Belgian Draft Horse gelding at about 17 hh. I have had a very hard summer plowing and harvesting. My knee is swollen and has been for some time now. I very little range of motion in it, but it doesn't bother me too much to walk and trot, just to bend it. I need some weight and LOTS of TLC. LCR is treating me for a cold and an eye irritation which is going away fast. I was saved from the slaughter house where I was on my way before LCR bought me at the auction. I guess my old owners thought I was used up. I'm sure I'll drive okay, but until I'm stronger, I'm not sure about being ridden. I will never be able to work as hard as I used to, but I can still give great enjoyment to someone who loves me.

Pete has been out for trail rides and although a little
slow, really seems to enjoy it. Any beginner can ride and work with Pete...as
long as they are tall enough to reach him. Pete is about 12+ years old and is
in great health. His knee doesn't bother him at all as long as he is not put
back to plowing 10 hours a day.
