VISITING & TOURS

Thank you for your group’s interest in visiting Last Chance Ranch Equine Rescue. We welcome any age level or type of group to visit LCR and it's many residents. Your group will receive a guided Tour which takes~ 1 1/2 hour and can include:

      ·        LCR History and how it all started
·        Resident rescues -Story on each horse on the premise
·       
What neglect can do 
·       
Volunteering opportunities
·       
Sponsor or fundraising options
·       
Horse handling demonstration
·       
Grooming demo and participation
·       
Education and information about health and care 

-Your tour will be individually structured toward the group’s age levels and abilities.

-A two-week notice must be given for group visits to ensure proper activity set-up.

-Inform us if you plan to bring a bagged lunch and need of a picnic area.

-If you have chosen to do a special project, groups of 12 or more may be split into smaller ones. Please allow time for clean up.

-Special requests will be given consideration and answered prior to your appointment.

-Barn and most of property is handicapped accessible, but outside so dress appropriately.

-Information about LCR will be available or handed out; flyers of upcoming events, newsletters etc. or appropriate to the particular visit.   

·  Please keep in mind some horses have very special diets or strict restrictions so there will be no feeding of any animal.

·  Some horses here have been beaten and abused and may be scared or some may bite.  Please do not approach the horses or other animals with out permission

·  No profanity, running, screaming, or loud noises, this upsets the horses.

·  Have fun, enjoy and learn.

Although we do not charge for visiting, a donation of money, materials, or time is always appreciated. 

This stable does NOT guarantee your safety. Please read the equine activity contract, rules, and release of liability very carefully before participating.

Your group Participation in any activity at Last Chance Ranch constitutes a release from liability of Last Chance Ranch, its Officers and Volunteers.
