Hi I'm Sam I am...

I was rescued by a butcher. I was on the truck headed for the slaughter house when, in a casual conversation with one of the know butchers,  LCR found out about me and decided to buy me sight unseen. Thank God!!

This man has compassion, and said " It's a shame, he's too nice of a horse to kill, but there is no market for a horse near 20 years old." We said we'd take him and this man even met us half way to deliver him.

Sam is ~16.2 hh 200% bomb proof, sound, and ready to go. What a cutie!! He's been on trails, roads, in the ring, and everywhere. Through water, fields, and more. He will even pick up a slow lope if encouraged. NOTHING phases him. If you liked Hemi, you'll like this one too!!! The only thing Sam needs is a little practice in lifting his hind feet for the farrier, but he learns quickly.
