These poor horses needed to be rescued from a rescue! Can you
believe that? No horse or animal should ever have to endure neglect and
hardship once, but TWICE???
Please read this
FIRST before you decide you want to
start your own rescue.
Willow had severe painful laminitis and is a couple hundred
pounds underweight.

Despite
months of careful trimming, pain management, and TLC Willow's condition did not
improve. Willow was humanely euthanized to spare her from further pain and
suffering.
Gambler, as we were told, was originally left on a property after the owners
sold it, to die alone or fend for himself. he was rescued by a "Horse Rescue"
only to be rehabbed, and then abandoned again on someone else's property.

Gambler is quite
the accomplished riding horse and has been placed in a loving home.
Autumn is in need of regular routine care and hoof maintenance. She is so kind
and loving, how could she possibly be neglected for a second time?

Autumn has gone
to live the good life with Cathy Sonnen, our guardian angel to some of LCR's
neediest of horses.
