A Belgian mare about 17hh. We know for sure she drives, but is a little apprehensive of people and the riding thing. She does nothing wrong, she does nothing...at all. Maggie came through the auction and was purchased to save her from a breeder/dealer who would have sent her to slaughter if she didn't get pregnant after the spring. Maggie is a bit unsure of this kind of attention. We don't think she's actually been beaten, but we don't think she's ever been loved and doesn't know quite what to make of it all. Treats...that's a whole new world to her. She seems to warm up quickly to certain people. We feel the correct person will fall madly in love with this wonderful intelligent horse. We are guessing she is late teens to early twenties. She is 100% sound and a pretty mover. She's not so sure about picking up her back feet, but learns quickly. She has put on about 200 lbs. and is ready to get to know her new prospective family.
