JUDA

Anglo Arab ( ½ Arab
& ½ TB) gelding he is extremely well trained which makes him sensitive to
your aides. He is great on trails and has a lot of spunk. He never shows his
true age or 25 years young. He will be perfect for anyone to trail ride or
advance to learn. Juda was brought to LCR due to life changes of his owner.
He has never been abused or neglected; he has always had great care. He was
placed once, but because of our check system and his LCR brand we found out that
he was not being cared for properly and we retrieved him and brought him back
home before he had something bad happen to him.
Juda has been on some trail
rides and did just beautifully. He is just an awesome horse. The following is a
riding report from one of our volunteers: "Just wanted to say how much I
enjoyed working with Judah today. He is extremely well-mannered, on the ground
and under saddle. I rode him about 20 minutes since he had been on rest for a
while. He has a fast, long walk and was eager to move faster - I had to restrain
him the first 15 minutes but then he settled down, dropped his head and went
nicely on a casual rein. He has a nice trot, neck-reins better than any of the
other horses I've ridden at LCR and is very responsive to aids. He will find a
new home very quickly once he's put on the web site. Based on first impressions,
he's probably not a horse for a beginner because of his zesty movement. But for
someone with a bit of experience he should be a real treasure. I'll be
interested in how he goes on the trail - it probably would be good to warm him
up 15 minutes first, just to take the edge off. Juda is a 25 year old
Arabian/Thoroughbred cross. He has a wonderfully sweet disposition, very
well-mannered, calm and patient".
Placement Fee: $750
Juda was recently sent to our turnout facility in Graterford. The horses at our
Graterford turnout facility will be brought back to LCR a few at a time, as
space allows. If you are interested in a particular horse you can send in an
application, but we cannot guarantee that the horse will be immediately
available. For SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY we will consider other arrangements. Last
Chance Ranch is located in Quakertown PA. All of our equines are placed within
3hrs. travel time from LCR to their new homes. If you are more than 3 hrs. from
LCR we will have to respectfully decline your application.
