Abe

Abe was purchased form auction in the summer of 2004. He looks like a "Dale" pony (with a docked tail), real cute and pretty peppy for a 23 year old. He had a problem with founder that we have been correcting. He is sound now and should remain that way with corrective consistent trimming. He has been ridden a couple of times and can be spooky about his back end. The volunteers and kids of LCR have been desensitizing him to the spooky surroundings of things that will eat him from behind like bags and garbage cans. He still needs work picking up his hind feet. With patience and understanding, Abe will be a wonderful pet to both ride and drive through the countryside.
