Update 12/02/05: Eddie is a wonderful sound riding horse.
Eddie
is now being turned out with Jet and Stitch and loving life. He is sound all
around otherwise and has been ridden and gone for trails rides. He does
very well. When he sees other horses he gets excited and wants to get a closer
look, but is very controllable.
We have received information
on Eddie and he was quite the riding horse before. He is very well behaved, but
may need someone with a little experience. We were also told he drives. We are
looking for a breaking cart or sulky to borrow or buy so we can try out some of
these drivers.

is only 15 years old and is a registered Morgan.

Eddie is an SPCA seized rescue turned over to LCR's care on January 29th, 2005 from the Bradford County area. He was so thin and neglected that his penis was unable to retract and it became frost bitten and started to turn gangrene. He was a stallion and was gelded at the same time as the penisectomy (amputation of the penis), by Quakertown Vet Clinic. The surgery was a complete success with careful follow up instructions so as not to let him bleed.

Eddie is now being turned out with Abe and Stitch and loving life. He appears to be sound all around otherwise and will go under riding evaluation once he is back to full strength and weight.
We have received information on Eddie and he was quite the riding horse before. He is very well behaved, but may need someone with a little experience, as we were told. he may be different now that he is gelded and we will begin to evaluate him soon. We were also told he drives. we are looking for a breaking cart or sulky to borrow or buy so we can try out some of these drivers.
