BEN
Placed with a wonderful lady who will be keeping him more as a companion than a riding horse. Ben loves his new home.

Ben is a Paint Tennessee Walking Horse Gelding. ~15 hands and very flashy with four high white stockings and a white blaze.

Ben has been worked with in the ring and has gone on the trails. He has more go than whoa. He likes to run or stand still so basically he has 2 speeds: neutral or fast forward. He is very controllable and not trying to run away, just has been ridden this way a long time.

Ben is virtually unspookable. He was great on the trails though the woods, water, cars, fields. Nothing seemed to phase him. He should have someone that has experience since he likes to run in his gaited walk most of the way. He gaits well but likes to go. He is very soft to the cues and stops easily. He turns on a dime and when stopped he stands still waiting to be asked to go again. Its not that he gets worked up, he just likes to GO!

Ben is 100% sound and healthy in every way. He would make a great trail horse for the more active trail riders or beginner endurance. He is 23 years young and acts like a spring chicken so his endurance rides should not be overextended.

We will continue to work on getting more whoa and teach him that he doesn't need to go all the time. Ben has wonderful manners and is a real sweetheart. He trailers well and loves to be with people.

Placement Fee: $600
