Alf is a Black & White Appaloosa, probably late 20's, gelding, 15.1hh. Alf has heaves developed from allergies to sawdust, dust and pollens. He must live outside where preferably there is pasture. He can buck and play with the best of them and does not act his age. He is very quiet and 200% bomb proof on the trails. We feel he was some awesome western show horse and is very well trained. Alf is a sweet heart, but has had enough of ring work. He is the type of horse to do anything you ask of him, but is physically incapable of working too hard because of his breathing. He is sound in his legs and feet can still be ridden on leisurely trail rides. Although Alf had come to us in good weight, his teeth were not properly cared for throughout his life, and now he must be kept on a complete feed. Alf is very easy to be around, and gets along with all...kids,horses,dogs...
